I am new to all this....
So Aaron (my just turned 3 year old son) lives, eats, DREAMS riding his bikes. He has been riding w/out training wheels since he was a little under 2 yrs. He rides the local small BMX tracks and hits any jumps (including the creative ones he builds himself) with confidence. So this brings me to my question....
Reminding you he is three, I am looking for advice/info on what bike people recomend, gear needed, and how I should support him without pushing him too much. He has a condor 16 but it is still a little too big for him to really control and he prefers his little cheap 12' but he has to petal like a mad man to get the momentum he needs but he can really work it.

He watchs BMX races, shows and videos and says he is going to be "that guy when I get big" and I have been told he definately has the talent, pa**ion and determination to go with it, so how do I go about doing it?

thanks for anything you can throw my way.

Re: I am new to all this....

Buy him all the protective gear you can find for his age, because if he has a talent he should go on, but he doesn't need to feel pain because he will asociate BMX and maybe a dream with pain. BMX is pain but at his age he might think that it is only pain and wont find any satisfaction in it. Watch out he may get bored and then all your work will finish with no result, but I think that if he starts BMXing at his age, well he might end up doing front-flips- back flips and tailwhips when he will be 11 or 10 years old. Support that kid he has potential, big one, not every kid could ride bikes since 2 years old and like bmx since 3 I got my first bmx when I was 10 so he should be a semi-pro by that age. Wish him luck. 10+++
